Britley Merrill

Hello everyone I will reintroduce ourselves since there are even more people in the ward now that we don't know lol we moved to West Haven 2 months ago and are loving it! We are the Merrills, Dallas and I have been married for 9 years. He was in my stake growing up but we met through mutual friends and starting dating in the fall after I had graduated high school. Dallas's dad was in the military so he moved around growing up and I grew up in Clinton. Dallas has 2 siblings and is the oldest. I have 3 siblings and I am the second youngest. Life with three boys is so busy. Bridger is our oldest who is 7, Porter is 4, Nixon is 1 1/2. We're grateful for a house that has more than one level to have more space to play or find a few minutes of quiet

😁 we enjoy playing games as a family, being outside(the boys love being on the tramp), playing sports, playing with family and friends. Our family is happy to be here and get to know more of you. I also just got called to be the second counselor in the Primary presidency and I am so excited to get to know all of your kids! ❤️

Mattie McCleve

Hello!! We’re the McCleves. I am from Grand Prairie, TX and Chris is from Bellingham, WA. We make friends and turn them into family since we don’t have any close by. Chris and I have been married for 8 years (in December) and we met my first semester at BYUI. We have three kids...Bradley (4 almost 5) Maylee (3) David (1). Chris is an avid skier so we’re hitting one of his favorite seasons. He has his bachelors in mechanical engineering and just graduated with his MBA from Weber State! I love to run and am home with the kids during the day. I have my bachelors in Exercise Physiology and love the way the human body works! We can’t wait to get to know everyone in the ward. He was just called as first counselor in the bishopric and I am now the secretary in Primary!

May be an image of 4 people, including Mattie Parr McCleve, child, people standing, flower and grass

Caroline Mazyck

Hi Ladies! I am Caroline Mazyck. I have lived in West Haven for 8 years now. I am originally from Orem, Ut. The love of my life and I bought our house so we didn't have such a long distance relationship (we did long distance for almost 3 years!) I have 3 kids from my previous marriage, Talena is 14, Arthur is 13 and Carol is 12. All a year born a year apart and all in July! We also have 2 Golden Retrievers, Ame and Odin! If they ever are barking at you as you pass our house its their way of saying hi! They really are love bugs! Adam Cravens has been my partner in crime for the last 10 years (11 in January). He was born in Spokane, Wa and was raised there and in Logan, Ut. I am the hiring manager and a licensed agent for my company and Adam is an electrician. I LOVE gardening and canning. I also like crafting and cooking. As a family we love camping and going to the movies!

BTW I have loved learning about all you wonderful ladies!!

Jennifer Lewis

Hello friends! I'm Jennifer! Many in the ward already know me but I'm so excited to meet and make new friends! I was born and raised in Lander, Wyoming. Lander is a small town located almost smack dab in the middle of Wyoming. My husband is Steve. He's from Clearfield, Ut and we have been married for 24 years. He is a police officer with the Salt Lake City Police Department and if you are wondering if his work has been a little stressful the past few months.... well, yes. Yes it has. We just keep taking it day by day, sometimes moment by moment, but through it all we try to remain positive and to laugh. I am a mother to 3 boys, who over the years have attributed to my grey (or is it gray?) hairs and wrinkles. Cody is 23 years old, Conner just turned 13 last week, and Beckham is 8 and was baptized in July. Seriously though, it's a miracle I survived the toddler years with these crazy boys! They keep me busy and because of them, I have become an expert in cleaning stains. My typical day , everyday, includes: driving kids to soccer; cleaning; Nerf gun bullets flying by me (flying objects whizzing past my head doesn't even phase me anymore!); unpleasant smells and sounds; lots of friends of my boys hanging out at my house; replenishing food to feed all of the boys; more cleaning; sewing/crafting/creating something; and laughing. Phew! Amongst all of the chaos of my household, I love to sew, decorate for holidays/ parties, and to create new things for my etsy shop.I have a small etsy shop where I sell decorative items that I sew, I often do alterations for people, and I sew banners, signs, and various advertising items for Bigfoot Graphix on an "as needed" basis. Years ago I was a floral designer and decorated for weddings but I still enjoy decorating for events and parties and creating floral arrangements. I love the Regal Country ward and was recently called to be the Primary president again! It has been such a blessing in my life and I have made so many eternal friendships. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and be a part of the primary again for the Regal Country Ward!

Robyn Crezee

 Hello Regal Country Ward!

I've enjoyed reading over everyone's stories.
My name is Robyn Crezee. My husband, Dan and I have been married for 28 1/2 years. Yes, I did give up front row tickets to see Garth Brooks in concert to get married! He is my best friend, my rock, a great husband and Dad. Our daughter, Kayla is 27 her and her husband Kevin live here with his niece Brianna. I love country music the best but truly enjoy all types of music. I love reading, cooking/baking and crafts. We love dogs and have rescued many.
I have been a member all of my life. There was a time when I was as far away from the church as possible, angry, drinking alcohol, fighting my own personal demons. With the love of my husband and friends, even some amazing people in this ward, helped me to realize that the teachings have never changed and to never let anyone tell me that I wasn't good enough. I came back to church and have never looked back!
I was called to the Nursery Leader postion to which I told the Bishop he was crazy that I can't sing in front of people! With his encouragement, I started the first Sunday in January 2001 🥰 Those little ones are my joy and they teach me so much!
Dan and I work opposite shifts (I'm graveyards). We love riding our Harleys together and helping others out. This man can BBQ, smoke meatloaf and make the best food over a campfire! So we do fight over who is going to cook! He is great at being Mr Fixit.
This ward is seriously the best!..Thank you for allowing me to share and I apologize it's so long. It's not often I get to speak adult 🤣

Angie Ferrin

My name is Angie and I’ve lived here for 21 years, started out in Regal Country and excited to be back! I have 5 children, Seth (26) same age as me

🤷🏼‍♀️ Landon (24), Jace (22), Jaxon (19) snd Alexa (15). I became widowed 15 years ago next week. I’ve been a single mom longer than I was married but I am super blessed to have such amazing kids. I also live next to my parents which has been super great! My kids are older now so I decided to do a long time goal and get back to school, I thought I’d have more time 😂😂 i also have two grandchildren Cruz (4) and Charlie (3) I will be having two more, one any day! I work as a project coordinator and love my job! When I have time, I love to workout and run. I’ve done a few half marathons. I love watching sports although I’m not a fan lately.. thank heavens for high school football and watching my daughter cheer. I also frequent Maverick fairly often for a coke ! My favorites are spending time with my kids and grandkids 💛 Super excited to see my old friends and meet new ones.

Emily Okerlund

Late to the family introductions game, but I was waiting until I had this newest family photo to share with you all to introduce our family to the ward. We are the Okerlund’s. We come to Regal Country Ward via the Rocky Mountain Ward. We’ve live in West Haven for almost 17 years. I’m a high school teacher and my husband, Thad, is part owner/manager of a local printing graphics company. We raise llamas and kids for our hobbies

😜 Our oldest son, Hunter and his wife Alexa, pictured in the right side of the photo, work for Under Armour in Baltimore MD, but because of Covid 19 he is working from UT & they live with us for a bit. Our oldest daughter Kaycee, (the bride pictured here) recently married Christian and they live in Logan, both going to school. Our next oldest daughter, Sage, (pictured on left side of photo) graduated from Fremont High in the spring and is leaving next month on a mission to Ft. Collins CO, Spanish Speaking. The youngest two, Ty & Maddie, are both in 3rd grade and keep us feeling Young by running to soccer, basketball, horse riding lessons, elementary school activities, play dates and such. Life is full & busy and we try to remember among the chaos of the everyday to stop and count the blessings. I’m excited to meet new friends here and strengthen existing friendships.

Lorena Flinders

I guess it's my turn. I am Lorena Flinders. My husband, Lance, and I just celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary. We have lived here for 17 years and have 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. Bailey, our oldest, married Brad, her high school sweetheart in February. Megan "graduated" from Roy High in May and is starting school to be an estitician soon. Morgan, the youngest and tallest, is a sophomore and can't wait to learn to drive. With all the boundary changes, we have always been in the Regal Country ward and it is always the best ward!

DIY Cleaner Recipes

DIY shower cleaner

I heated up 5 oz of white vinegar, added 5 oz of dish soap, shook it up in a spray bottle and sprayed they shower (it didn't spray very well so I wasn't too confident). An hour or so later I wiped it off. It looked so much better.

Homemade Dusting Spray
1 cup distilled water
1/2 cup white vinegar
2 Tbls Olive Oil
10-15 Drops of essential oil
Most popular scents: Lemon, Lavendar, Peppermint, Cinnamon or LemonGrass
Non Drying Hand Sanitizer
1 1/2 tsp Dickinson's Witch Hazel
1/3 tsp Vit E oil
15 drops Tea Tree essential oil
1/2 cup pure Aloe Vera gel - clear
Mix well and put into a pump or squeeze bottle.
I have recipes for toilet cleaning bombs, homemade Vicks shower steamers, dish soap.

HOMEMADE LAUNDRY DETERGENT 1 bar of Fels-Naptha laundry soap, grated (use an old cheese grater), 14 oz. Super Washing Soda, 14 oz borax MIX everything together add 2 Tbsp to washing machine **note these can all be found in the laundry aisle

APHID SPRAY (for roses) grate some Fels-Naptha soap into warm water spray it on the plants

0r A little Murphy's Oil mixed with water gets rid of aphids, black flies

FOAMING HAND SOAP
2/3 Castile soap
1/3 distilled water
Essential oil (if you have a plain Castile soap and want to add a scent - how many drops depends on how strong you want the scent)
I started off mixing each soap dispenser individually then realized I should make it in a bigger container. I mix it in a empty castile soap bottle, then I can add to individual dispensers in any amount.
Tip: put the water in first then add the soap. It won't bubble as much.
